Returned back to hospital for the regular
Monday appointment, although the place was virtually empty as nearly
all the doctors were away on a conference no doubt enjoying themselves.
As these visits had become so routine it was just a case of finding
out the blood levels in addition to the cyclosporine and magnesium
levels, so any adjustments could be made to the my doesage.
Well the bloods came through showing an encouraging rise. WBC - 3.1,
Hb(Red Blood) - 10.1, Platelets - 130 and Neutropils - 2.43. For the
first time my bloods were in the range for a normal person. Apart
from a very small amount of GVHD on the tips of my forefingers there
was nothing else to mention. I enquired about my cyclosporine levels,
but the didn't have the results, so I asked if the doctor could call
me should he get the results through so I could adjust my dosage.
With that the appointment was over. There's nothing much to say except
that I'm feeling better day by day, and I hope that this improvement
continues.
